MOHLTC Seeking Applications for Community-Driven Poverty Reduction Projects

AMHO members may be eligible for funding from the province’s Local Poverty Reduction Fund (LPRF).
The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) Mental Health and Addictions Branch is seeking applications for funding, and the deadline for registrations is Monday, May 30 at 5 pm EST.

The fund supports community-based programs that target groups disproportionately affected by poverty, including people living with mental illness and/or addictions. More specifically, the fund allocates:

  • Up to $10 million for homelessness related projects
  • A minimum of $2 million dedicated to projects in Indigenous communities and by Indigenous-led organizations
