As AMHO CEO Gail Czukar steps into retirement at the end of June, the Board of Directors announce the appointment of Barney Savage as Interim CEO, effective July 1, 2018.
Barney knows the organization well as the current Director of Policy and Communications. His prior experiences span multiple sectors including positions as Director of Public Policy at CAMH, senior advisor to the Ministry of Children and Youth Services System Transition Team and Senior Policy Advisor at the United Way of Greater Toronto.
The Board welcomes Barney into this role and is confident in his ability to lead AMHO as the search for a permanent CEO is finalized.
