Guidance for Clinically Appropriate Use of Virtual Care for Depression and Anxiety-Related Conditions is Now Live

8th Dec 2023 Ontario News

Ontario Health has released the guidance for ‘Clinically Appropriate Use of Virtual Care for Depression and Anxiety-Related Conditions’ on the Ontario Health website in both English and French. This document has been developed to help health care professionals make decisions about the use of virtual care modalities (i.e., telephone, videoconferencing) for people living with depression and anxiety-related conditions. This guidance was developed by Ontario Health with advice from an expert panel. Ontario Health presented the draft version of the guidance to AMHO members in August.
