AMHO is thrilled to announce Harold R. Johnson as keynote speaker and an engaging agenda developed in partnership with Health Commons Solutions Labs at Sinai Health. Health Commons will use their expertise in building practical solutions to address health disparities to guide us through the discussion.
CEO/EDs and senior leaders are invited to take part in an important conversation on tackling anti-Black racism, anti-Indigenous racism, and racism in leadership, mental health and addiction services, and the sector.
The discussion will:
- Embrace the imperative of tackling racism and oppression in the mental health and addiction sector
- Encourage us to learn from our colleagues
- Start the process of describing and committing to a series of intentions to tackle racism and oppression
