Leadership Forum

For the first time in 15 years, Ontario has a new PC government at Queen’s Park. It’s clear that there is a new way of doing business, and a new agenda in healthcare emerging. These changes are bringing significant new opportunities and challenges for the community mental health and addiction sector. Given the significant pressures in our system, strong collaboration and a unified vision are more important than ever.

Our Leadership Forum will focus on how we can work together to shape the new healthcare agenda, and ensure mental health and addiction are part of the solution. Join executive directors and CEOs from Ontario’s community mental health and addiction sector on November 5 for a robust conversation about leadership, including discussions about:

  • Community solutions to ending hallway healthcare
  • Building and deepening relationships with the new government
  • An in-depth look at the new political and policy climate
  • Opportunities for a lifespan approach to mental health and addictions generated by the move of child and youth mental health to MOHLTC
  • How the focus on value for money and red tape might be leveraged to make our services more efficient

The Leadership Forum is open to members in good standing of Addictions and Mental Health Ontario.
