2018 Conference & Presentations
THANK YOU for making our sixth conference the biggest one yet!
The annual sector gathering attracted over 450 people, and offered 48 sessions over 8 streams, facilitated by 145 speakers.
Todd Leader spoke at the Opening Reception on Sunday night about leadership and being truly client-centred. In the opening plenary on Monday morning, Nicole Sherren from the Alberta Family Wellness Initiative took to the stage to explain how brain science can be influenced by life experiences that make people more or less vulnerable to addiction. And Scott Miller closed the Conference by challenging us to not be afraid of failure in order to be better at our roles.
Thank you to all of our attendees, sponsors, presenters, keynote speakers and exhibitors for making this our most successful event to date!
